ABOUT THE PLANT KIDS
Our Kids Ministry serves families and kids, Pre-K to 5th grade. The Plant Kids is a fun, interactive time when kids get to grow in their faith and relationships with one another. We meet during the worship gathering at The Plant. Our groups are guided by curriculum that is Bible-based, interactive, fun and calls kids and families to action when they leave our doors!

Discipleship milestones
Just as schools, sports and extra curricular activities celebrate our kids' developmental accomplishments, we, the church, intentionally celebrate the life-giving discipleship milestones in our kids lives! These milestones allow us to partner with parents to disciple their kids at every step of their faith journey with Jesus. (Click the image on the left.)
#1 BABY DEDICATION
Partnering with parents in their decision to be the primary "faith nurtures" in their home as they choose to dedicate themselves and their children to the Lord.
#2 FIRST GRADE BIBLE PRESENTATION
Celebrating our 1st graders' reading accomplishments, by presenting them with their very own, age-appropriate Bible--a discipleship tool to provide opportunities for kids and their parents to learn and grow together in their love for Jesus!
#3 MY SALVATION STORY CLASS & CELEBRATION
Affirming our 3rd graders in their journey of faith and personal Salvation Story, as they choose to begin a personal relationship with Jesus.
#4 FIRST COMMUNION CLASS & CELEBRATION
Celebrating our 5th graders as they explore their understanding of, and choose to participate in, communion.
#5 FIFTH GRADE MILESTONE CELEBRATION
Recognizing the accomplishments of our 5th graders and releasing them to GROW & GO in God's Love as they continue to grow and mature as preteens.
FAMILIES & SAFETY FIRST
The Plants Kids is steadfastly committed to the safety and
security of each child that joins us for worship and asks all
who attend to review our Family First Partnership. We agree
to partner together as families who are committed to the
policies and procedures put in place for the safety of
our children.
All volunteers have completed a background check and
are easily identifiable by their green "Plant Kids" t-shirts.
All families are asked to sign in and receive child and parent
tags that hold a unique safety code assigned to each
family which is used at pick up.
